What are the application deadlines?
The deadline to apply is adhered strictly to April 15th. Applications may be turned in as early as March.

Are the application deadlines ever extended?
No, the application must be submitted before deadline dates (postmark must be before midnight on the deadline date) or stamped as received on due date before 5 p.m.

Do I have to submit official transcripts to the Admissions Office and to the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program?
No, unofficial transcripts will be accepted for ADN generic applicants. If LVN-RN applicants are transferring from other colleges (other than TSC) the applicant must submit official transcripts to Admissions Office and a copy to the ADN program showing courses being transferred.

It is expected that the prerequisite courses be completed before submitting the application (LVN-RN transition program).
Does the ADN program have any prerequisites?
Yes, the ADN does have prerequisites to be completed. Please review the appropriate POS (Program of Study). Students are also highly encouraged to complete the prescribed core courses and electives prior to applying to the ADN program. This will enable the student to focus on nursing courses.

How do I know what is required to submit with the application?
A check list is included with the items required to submit with a completed application.

What test scores are required for the ADN program?
The ACT test scores are required. A minimum score of 18 on the Reading, English, Science and Composite sections is required. A score of 22 or above is recommended. There are also Kaplan Entrance Exam scores that are required. Please look at the admissions grid under the application section for all the test score details.

Will my ACT scores be accepted if they are six years old? ACT scores more than five years old will not be accepted.

If I apply and am denied, can I reapply?
Yes, however all coursework must be complete and all criteria must be met.

What grade is required for the following courses: Anatomy & Physiology I and II with lab, Microbiology with lab, Composition I, Algebra I and General Psychology?
A minimum of "C" is required for each course.

What is the required college GPA?
A minimum college GPA of 2.5 is required, if no college experience, a high school average of 85 or higher. A college GPA of 3.0 or higher is recommended.
