Dec. 1 Spikefest – Volleyball Tournament
Texas State Technical College
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Recreation Center participates in an extramural tournament where our top coed TSC team competes against top coed teams from STC, TSTC and UTRGV.

Dec. 3 Christmas Parade
Elizabeth St.
7:00 pm- 8:30 pm (will need to be on float by 5:00pm)  
Join us as we kick off the holiday season! TSC will participate in its first Christmas parade. The TSC float will travel down Elizabeth St. and will be decorated in festive lights. The float will feature our Campus Activities Board students.

Dec. 4  National Cookie Day

The Office of Student Life will be celebrating National Cookie Day! Stop by and pick up your fresh cookie! Enjoy a sweet treat before finals. Sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.

Dec. 4 Grad Fair
Tandy Lobby
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Graduating students can attend the fair to find out more information about commencement and pick up their cap and gown. Representatives from the admissions, advising, and financial aid departments will be available to answer any questions. Students can also visit with representatives from other universities and learn about transferring.

Dec. 5 Student Government Association - Breakfast before Finals
North and South Hall Courtyard
9:00 am - 11:00 am
The Student Government Association will host a breakfast event for all TSC Students. The grab-and- go breakfast will be in preparation for finals. Students can also enjoy games and stress relieving activities.

Dec.  5 Wellness Wednesday
Recreation Center Multipurpose Room
12:00 pm-2:00 pm
The Recreation Center will be administering wellness checks for the TSC and UTRGV community. We will check your blood pressure, body mass index, glucose, and body fat percentage.

Dec. 5 Tree Lighting Ceremony
Gorgas Hall
5:30 pm
The Office of Student Life will facilitate a tree lighting ceremony to kick-off the Holiday season. Participants can enjoy music and performances by the Raul J. Guerra Early Childhood Center and Castaneda Elementary school. Hot chocolate and sweet bread will be provided after the ceremony.  The event is open to all faculty, students, staff and the community.
