TSC and Texas A&M: Higher Ed partners work to advance the region

South Padre Island – A luncheon of the RGV Partnership, a consortium of Valley business leaders, last week brought together higher education partners Texas A&M and Texas Southmost College.

Scorpions defeat UTRGV in season finale, remain undefeated

The Texas Southmost College Scorpions men’s soccer club came back to defeat the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley 3-2 in the orange-and-blue’s regular-season finale Oct. 12 in Edinburg to finish undefeated for the second consecutive season.

Scorpions soccer advance to regional finals in Dallas

The Texas Southmost College Scorpions men’s soccer club notched its third six-goal victory in four matches after defeating the University of Texas-San Antonio 6-0 in their regular-season home finale Oct. 6 at Scorpion Field.

The Scorpions’ victory also clinched the Texas Collegiate Soccer League South Conference title and a berth in the NIRSA Region IV South Tournament, to be played Oct. 25-27 in Dallas.
